Introducing Status Web

SureSync offers a great deal of insight into the current state of your synchronization/replication environment.

Our team here at Software Pursuits has always taken great pride in the fact that SureSync offers a great deal of insight into the current state of your synchronization/replication environment. Previously, SureSync has provided this insight through Detailed Status & Enterprise Status.

The Detailed Status panel reveals the current real-time status of an individual Job, Schedule or Real-Time Monitor; including items such as file copy status, queued items and many other statistics.

Enterprise Status was introduced to provide a “dashboard” overview of the entire SureSync environment, even when that environment spans multiple SureSync servers. This bird’s eye view gives awareness into job statistics across all SureSync Suite products. However, this status panel is a program that needs to be installed on the machines being used to perform the monitoring.

In speaking with many of our clients, we have heard on occasion that it would be great to provide an overview of your SureSync environment right in a web browser? With that in mind, I’m happy to introduce you to SureSync’s Status Web application.

Status Web allows you to easily:

• Stop and start Jobs, Schedules and Real-Time Monitors.
• View statistics such as added, deleted, warnings, errors and bytes copied.
• Securely delegate monitoring tasks to others within your organization through a combination of SureSync Group Folders and Windows Authentication in Internet Information Services (IIS).

This happens all through simply launching a web browser, visiting the Status Web portal, and then entering your credentials. Want to give Status Web a spin? Check out the free trial or contact us.
