Step 2: Request a Server Trial (optional)
The SureSync installer you just downloaded includes a workstation trial license. If you're testing SureSync on a workstation operating system such as Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP, or Windows Vista then you already have the correct trial license for your needs.
A SureSync server trial license is needed if you are planning on testing SureSync between one or more servers. Server operating systems include Windows NT 4.0 Server, Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server, and all non-Windows platforms such as Linux and Unix.
A server trial will be e-mailed to you automatically when you submit your e-mail address by clicking on the button below.
Step 3: SureSync Add-On Products
SureSync offers a number of performance enhancing add-on products. Each add-on is included in your trial. Details on each add-on and download links can be found below (if required).
SPIAgent Add-On
The SPIAgent add-on provides the following performance enhancing features: Real-Time Monitors, Adaptive Delta Technology, Quality of Service (QoS), file compression, file encryption, and TCP/IP transmissions.
The SPIAgent allows you to synchronize files to any Windows machine efficiently and securely, even over the Internet.
To use the SPIAgent you should download the SPIAgent only installer by clicking the 'Download Now' button below. This should be installed on all machines involved in the SureSync installation except the machine where you install the full SureSync application.

The user that attempts to open a file that is already in use will receive a message that they can open a read-only copy.
The SPIAgent File Filter Driver, which is responsible for performing the file locking functions, can be downloaded by clicking the 'Download Now' button below and needs to be installed on each machine involved in the file locking job.
Each machine with the SPIAgent File Filter Driver installed must also have the SPIAgent installed.

64-bit Support: 64-bit support is not available at this time.

To enable Advanced Open File Support on Windows 2000 and Windows XP, the Advanced Open File Support add-on license must be purchased for each machine which will be the source of an Advanced Open File Support copy.
