If you maintain many file types in a single folder structure and have a difficult time weeding out the files you do or do not wish to replicate, SureSync helps out with a feature known as "File Masking". File masking allows you to specify file types you wish to include or exclude from being replicated. For example, by default SureSync lists "*.* | -*.tmp | -~*.doc" in the file masking box. This tells SureSync to copy everything based on the wildcards. The "-" sign in front of .tmp and ~.doc means that SureSync will not copy these file types.
