Trial SureSync

Below are 5 steps to get you started using the SureSync trial. Before steps 1-3, you might consider 4-6 as they will help introduce you to documentation as well as how to get in touch with a member of our team.

Step 1: Download SureSync & Add-on Installers

SureSync Download

To get started, click the 'Download Now' button below to download the full SureSync installation program to your hard drive. The single download also includes installers for Add-on products SPIAgent and File Locking. During installation, you will be able to select the components needed for the machines involved in your replication project.

Supported Operating Systems: Windows 2008 Server R2, Windows 2008 Server, Windows 2003 Server R2, Windows 2003 Server, Windows 7, Windows Vista & Windows XP.

SureSync can synchronize to any machine accessible via UNC path or drive mapping including non-Windows machines and older Windows releases such as Windows 98 and Windows NT 4.0.

Required Components: The installer will check your system for SureSync's required components and download those components your machines needs installed.

SyncLockStatus Add-on Download

SyncLockStatus is an Add-on application for SureSync's Collaboration Edition that provides pop-up notification for client machines when a user encounters a file lock and also when a locked file becomes available for edit.

Step 2: Request a Server Trial (optional)

The SureSync installer you just downloaded includes a workstation trial license. If you're testing SureSync on a workstation operating system such as Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP, or Windows Vista then you already have the correct trial license for your needs.

A SureSync server trial license is needed if you are planning on testing SureSync between one or more servers. Server operating systems include Windows NT 4.0 Server, Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server, and all non-Windows platforms such as Linux and Unix.

Step 3: Download the SureSync Evaluator's Guide

The SureSync Evaluator's Guide provides step-by-step instructions for configuring all of the various components of SureSync. Please download the PDF of this important document by clicking on the PDF icon below.

SureSync w/ SPIAgent Evaluator's Guide The SPIAgent Add-on delivers additional features to the SureSync Standard product, giving users more control over how to connect with remote machines and more powerful features to enhance performance.
SureSync w/ SPIAgent & File Locking Evaluator's Guide File locking enhances collaboration environments, allowing only a single read-write file copy to be opened. This allows users in remote locations to local file copies.
SureSync with ArchiveSync Add-on The ArchiveSync Add-on provides disk-to-disk backups with its intelligent archiving feature. ArchiveSync is included with the SureSync Ultimate bundle and can be added to other bundles.
SyncLockStatus Evaluator's Guide SyncLockStatus keeps end users notified about file locking status when they attempt to open a file already in use and when that file becomes available. SyncLockStatus can be added to SureSync Collaboration or Ultimtate bundles.
